ReplyDeleteI learned, that the animation movie of balto....O.o o.O is considered to be a sci-fi movie...that was actually the last movie I expected to be on there.

ReplyDeleteToday, I was looking up Si Fi movies, and I noticed that I liked a lot of the movies that I didn't know where considered science fiction.
ReplyDeletei learned that blade runner is the number one sciense fiction move, i thought that was funny because it is so old.

ReplyDeleteMany people now are claiming that SF no longer holds the literary quality that it once held, and are saying that now many of the SF books available are only tribute to what was once great, such as Star Trek adjunct novels.

ReplyDeleteI learned that my favorite Science Fiction book (Ender's Game) was written within the time period my group is making our slide show on. I also learned about many movies and comic books are based on scientific advancements and accidents.
ReplyDeleteI learned about comic books and all the different explanations behind people getting super powers. I also learned that mostly they all involve radioactive waste or some kind of radiation that magically gives the superheroes incredible abilities instead of the usual side effects of radiation (disfiguration and death come readily to mind).
ReplyDeleteI learned that the space shuttle, or space ship considering it was reusable, was lauched in 1977, which probably had a effect of sci fi of the era.
