I think this story was very interesting. It was almost weird that len was using the slug "icky", to make himself better. I would never use a slug to make my self better with music or anything else. This story kind of reminded me of the book "The Host" when these things inhabited the bodies of humans, and basically became them and could see into their brain. They also died without a host body. The slugs didnt actually take over the body but they did get in the brain. I actually liked the story.
I thought it was weird how he needed Icky to be be a good singer and performer. I also thought it was interesting that the slug had to be attatched to him and without that connection it would die.
I thought this was a really interesting story, and it made me wonder why so many people didn't like Icky. I thought it was really interesting, that Icky had so much influence on the singers life, and that it changed so much when Icky was killed.
